A brief look into my professional background

I am Ishan Arya, an Honours Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with strong interests in software development, robotics, and computer architecture.
My experiences include:
- Research Intern under an astrophysicist from Kyoto University, assisting in interstellar distance estimation research, leading to a peer-reviewed publication on Hubble’s Law.
- Selected for the competitive UCL Medical Science & AI Summer School, focusing on AI applications in healthcare.
- Led my school’s Robotics Club for two years, organized its first two-day robotics competition, and mentored 40+ students weekly in hands-on Arduino projects.
I enjoy building practical tools to solve real problems, learning new technologies, and collaborating with others to create meaningful tech solutions. I am eager to apply my skills in challenging co-op roles that drive innovation and impact.
